It also measures the size, orientation, and density of metallic flake or pearlescent particles within the paint. This digital profile is then sent to our advanced mixing database, which calculates a custom formula tailored down to the microgram to match your vehicle's current faded state.
Precision Formulation and the Art of Blending
Once the computerized system generates the custom formula, our master painters mix the paint inside a controlled, computerized mixing station. But technology is only half the battle. The final, undetectable blend requires outstanding physical skill.
Instead of stopping the paint abruptly at a panel edge (which creates a hard line that the human eye can easily detect), we utilize a technique called color blending. We apply the new paint over the repaired area and gradually mist it onto the adjacent original panels.
